The Pamukkale Balloon Tour adventure starts very early in the morning. We pick you up from your hotel hours before sunrise. The journey takes about 3 hours and there is a short break on the way. Your guide also gives you information about the tour during this time.
It is still dark when you reach Pamukkale. At that time, you watch the balloons getting ready for flight. The sounds of the flames, the movements of the giant balloons before they rise and the lights around create a very different and exciting environment.
As the sun rises, the balloons slowly take off and you start to rise into the sky. When you look from above, you can see the famous white travertines of Pamukkale, the old city of Hierapolis, the burial grounds and the natural beauties of the surroundings. If the weather is suitable, the pilot can fly the balloon close to the travertines and enjoy the view more closely.
After the balloon ride, you are given a special flight certificate. There is also a small celebration with non-alcoholic champagne or apple juice. This is one of the most special moments of your tour.
After the celebration, a rich open buffet breakfast awaits you. After eating and drinking as you wish, you start exploring Pamukkale. You can walk on the travertines, see the hot springs and visit the historical buildings. You have about 3 hours of free time for this.
Afterwards, you have a delicious open buffet lunch with more than 60 varieties in a nice restaurant. After the meal, you start returning to Side. You reach your hotel in the evening. What remains behind are both the views you see from the sky and the beautiful memories you spent in Pamukkale.
In 2025, Side hot air balloon ride price is between €40 to €125. Children under 6 years old are discounted.

The tour starts very early in the morning, at 02:00. We pick you up from your hotel in Side with air-conditioned vehicles. Depending on how many people you are, we send a minibus or a bus. After everyone is picked up, we set off for Pamukkale. We take a short break along the way. You travel for about 3 hours. During this time, you can rest or sleep on the bus.
You arrive in Pamukkale at 05:30. You watch how the balloons are inflated. First, the balloons are prepared with cold air, then hot air, and they shine brightly in the morning darkness. The pilot explains the flight rules to you. The balloon takes off at sunrise. You see the white stone terraces and ancient ruins of Pamukkale from above. If the weather is nice, the balloon passes right above the terraces.
The balloon flies for about 1 hour and you land. We give you a special flight certificate. You have a small celebration with non-alcoholic champagne or fresh apple juice. You share this special moment with the other passengers.
At 07:30, you have an open buffet breakfast at a nearby restaurant. You eat traditional Turkish breakfast foods such as cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, butter, jam, honey, fresh bread, tea and coffee. Thus, you start the day full of energy.
After breakfast, you walk to the white stone terraces of Pamukkale with a guide. These stones were formed in hot water and look very beautiful. You can put your feet in the hot water.
Then you visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. Here you see the old theater, baths and temples. Our guides give you information about the historical objects in the museum.
If you want, you can swim in the Cleopatra Pool by paying an extra fee. The water of this pool is hot and healing. There are stone columns from ancient times in it.
At 12:30, you have an open buffet lunch at Villa Castelio Restaurant. The menu includes salads, Turkish appetizers, hot dishes, desserts and seasonal fruits. There are also options for vegetarians.
After lunch, you set off on your return journey. We take a break on the way. You arrive at your hotel approximately 3 hours later. Our tour ends at 18:00 with a drop-off at your hotel.
